Welcome...
Welcome to a unique collaboration and development in thyroid testing between FDX (FunctionalDX) and TGC (Thyroid Care Group). As a result of this unique collaboration of Dr Roderick Lane PhD, ND and the Thyroid Care Group, along with one of the most exceptional major blood test analytical groups in Europe we are now able to give to members direct access to blood testing that was formerly only available via specialist Naturopath’s and Endocrinologists. We must emphasise that this open testing procedure is unique to the TCG and is only available to members via this group’s social media pages.
Over the past two years TCG and FDX have been working in close collaboration, reviewing the literature, talking to clients and gaining deeper understanding of the needs of those with thyroid issues. Many people in the past feel that the current level of thyroid testing available both privately and publicly has failed them. We believe that we have established the essentials in fundamental thyroid testing, a direct result of this unique collaboration is the development of the test we call Thyroid Baseline. This test should be both the standard and the minimum of information that anyone with a suspected thyroid or thyroid associated problem should seek out.. We have also been redefining the values used in finger prick testing (also referred to as index tests) and using more sophisticated diagnostic techniques to ensure a more reliable testing of antibodies.
If you require one of these tests, arrange a test review with one of the group’s practitioners prior to the test. The test results are long and often complicated; you will need an experienced practitioner to provide initial insight. Should you choose to use this testing procedure you will need to read the instructions carefully. Blood draw and blood test locations can be found on the FDX homesite and they are located throughout the UK. At the moment this testing procedure is only available to those who are living within the UK or are a UK resident.. Look up your blood test location prior to ordering a test, it may well be that your local GP office is unable to perform this test as the blood needs to be placed into a centrifuge. All of the tests are routed, when complete, via the TGC and forwarded on to you. Such is the complexity of these tests that you should expect the results back four working weeks after the initial postage.
Welcome to a new world of thyroid understanding
